Miesha Theresa Tate, born August 18, 1986 is an American mixed martial artist. She is currently a competitor in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), in which she is the former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was before an Strikeforce female bantamweight champion. Tate was also vice-president of ONE Championship. In October 2022, she was 10 in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was born to Michelle Tate in Tacoma (Seattle), Washington. She was raised by Robert Schmidt and Michelle. As a teenager, she was a tomboy she frequently hung out with boys from her community at the playgrounds.
